Griffey Farms LLC

Our Story

Humble Beginnings

As a young man, Dan Griffey’s dream was always to farm. But getting started farming in the late 60’s and early 70’s was hard. However, Dan was determined to give life to his dream. Through his struggles and challenges, he was forced to “Use it up, make it work, wear it out, or do without.” This mindset helped him become creative in finding the best deals on feed ingredients and farm supplies.

Giving Back

As Dan’s farming endeavors became more successful, other farmers often sought him out for advice and ideas. His willingness to help others acheive their farming dreams developed into the idea of a place where other farmers and neighbors could source affordable feed products and supplies.

The Next Generation

Today, Dan’s sons, Mark, Michael, and Thomas, are all carrying on the family tradition of both the farm and farm supply store. Along with their wives, they are actively involved in farm operations.

The Future

In preparing for the next generation, the grandkids are now also getting involved in farm operations. They are often found feeding bottle calves, cleaning barns, and other chores. The older boys are big enough to operate some equipment and help at the feed store.
